I love love Holiday's! I think it is a good excuse to make any day extra special and spend time with the people you care about. Since Glen is such an amazing husband and knows about my love for Holiday's, he always goes above and beyond. This was our first Valentine's Day as a married couple and we stretched it the entire weekend.
It started on Friday when Glen came home with two big bouquets of flower and told me we were going to Cheesecake Factory (a favorite spot of ours). During our wait we went over to Nordstrom and Glen bought me a black North Face jacket that I have been wanting (he is a sweetheart). After dinner we came home and went to bed so we could wake up, and spend Valentine's Day all over again.
On Saturday we woke up and watched my friends four month old baby Ryland. He is adorable and such a good baby. I love watching Glen hold him and make him laugh (my husband will be the greatest dad). After that we went down to Spanish Fork so I could do my niece's hair and makeup for her very first high school dance. She looked pretty darn cute if I say so myself. Then Glen took me to Carrabba's for dinner. This is where we went to dinner on our very first date. It was so fun to go back there! We even order the exact same thing we order a year and a half ago.
On Sunday we went to church and came home and spent the entire day on the couch! It was wonderful! Sundays are normally crazy for us because we go and visit family all day. But not this Sunday! This Sunday we took a nice long nap and woke up and made breakfast for dinner. It was perfect!
I was a little bummed because my Valentine's Day for Glen did not get here in time..... it is still in the mail, but hopefully it will get here today!
