Thrid Trimester

I'm officially on the countdown and in my third trimester! Two thirds of the way done, and now just 84 days left until baby Preston comes, and only 37 days left until we move to Arizona.

Top reasons why I liked my second trimester...
  • After about week 22, the nausea seemed to subside. It still happens every once in awhile, but it's much more manageable when it happens once a week verse 6 times a day. (although the 14lb weight loss was nice)
  • I'm still able to go to the gym, bend over, sleep on my stomach, and wear my normal jeans (yes i know the days of wearing them are coming to an end, but it has been nice for the time being)
  • I can actually stay awake at my desk in my office. I wont say I have tons of energy, but I have a lot more then in the first tri!
  • It took me until about week 25 but...... I can finally feel Preston move and kick all the time! And Glen can too!
And a few things that I don't like and that I am not looking forward to in this third trimester...
  • Major lack of  sleep! I have become the lightest sleeper known to man! I can't even handle listening to Glen breath! (poor guy)
  • Getting up to go potty at least once a night, if not more, and then having the hardest time falling back asleep!
  • Having the world's worst charley horse! They are the most painful leg cramps in the world that cause me to jump out of bed and run to some cold tile and rub/stretch my leg out. And of course I never get them when I am already awake going to the bathroom, that would be to convenient.

Although these things drive me crazy, I am so grateful for the chance I have to bring a baby into this world. I am also so grateful for my Glenny Poo Poo. He has been such an amazingly kind, supportive, sensitive, and understanding husband. He is such a hard worker and is constantly doing things for our little family. I am so proud of him for getting his MBA, and doing everything he can to be an incredible provider. He always makes sure that I am taken care of, even when he doesn't get home from class until after ten. I can't wait to see him with our baby, I know he will be such an incredible dad. I'm so lucky to have him stuck with me FOREVER!

In other news..... it's lunch time, and although I don't have any "cravings", there are a few things that I like and enjoy eating weekly (but not at crazy hours in the night, and not with any sudden need). I just like them, and eat them often.
Every Monday night I want to eat Papa John's pineapple and ham pizza! It is so delicious! I could eat all the garlic sauce myself.

And every week I want to eat some of these bad boys. Before I was pregnant I never would have been caught buying myself a bag of chips at the store. However, I have developed a love for cheetos, and not just any cheetos, I like the puffs!

Although I don't wake up in the night with a need for a steak or some random pickle and ice cream combo, I am the type that when I see something and it looks good, I know I want it!

I am so excited for these next 12 weeks to hurry and be done with! I cannot wait to hold my baby boy in my arms and start my own little family. Lots and lots of things have to happen in between now and then! Moving and finding a new doctor to name a few!

Wow 12 weeks to go! You are so cute prenant and are going to be such a great mom. Preston is so lucky to have both of you as his parents! You have a lot going on with moving and everything else but because you know you are supposed to go everything will fall nicely into place. Good Luck!

You are so lovely. Dr. Linnerson is probably one of the best OBGYN's out here. The whole staff is just amazing, and kind and considerate. http://careforwomen.net/

hope things continue to go well!

congrats...you are almost there!!! I cant wait for Preston to get here either! you are going to be an amazing mommy. I am so glad that you can finally feel him now...but you will be hating it at night when you sleep and he is kicking the crap out of your ribs :) AND those Charlie Horses, HOLY MOLY, they hurt more then anything. Pike makes fun of how I react to them cuz it really sounds like im in labor. Good news is that i hear labor doesnt hurt as bad as them...will see. thanks for the update!!!

Isn't pregnancy so wonderful!? But at least you're not sick anymore. Now you just get to deal with the bigness part and having to waddle instead of walk. We are so excited for you guys! Take care!
