New Canaan, CT

After the weekend wedding madness, Glen flew home back to Phoenix, and I flew to JFK to help my mom tend my two nephews and niece. It was a party! I was not looking forward to being on a 5 hour flight alone, but of course Preston was perfect and slept all but 45 minutes of the flight. He is seriously the best baby in the world. While waiting for my bags at baggage claim numerous people came up to me and commented on what a great baby he is. Half the people on the plane didn't even know there was a baby on board. We never had to leave our seat. And yes, I totally changed a diaper on my lap. I had two plane tickets so we could spread out a bit and as soon as Preston woke up and the man sitting on our row was asleep, i took that diaper off and let him be a nakey boy. (don't jude me, it was only pee!)

Connecticut is absolutely gorgeous. The homes are enormous and the landscape is beautiful. The trees where in full bloom with orange, red, pink, and yellow leaves. I love it there! (I'm not so sure how much I would love it with the snow, but i'll take the fall there any day)

After this trip, I have a new found respect for stay at home moms, single moms, working mom, married moms, moms of multiple children.... pretty much just anyone out there with children. I know I'm a mom, but one easy baby is..... easy. Three kids plus mine equals tons of work! But i loved every minute of it. My sister in law is amazing, because my brother travels so much she is often left at home alone to do ALL the work.

Pack lunches, drop off/pick up for school, cleaning, laundry, naps, breakfast, lunch, dinner, cleaning, laundry, play time, homework, soccer practice, soccer game, sports/science camp, bath time, bed time story, more cleaning and laundry. It's a lot of work, but the best work out there. It made me excited to have more children and one big happy family.

All the Cunningham Grandbabies. (My dad helped my mom until I flew into town and took his spot)

It was so sad to leave. I wanted to take all the babies back home with me to Arizona! Of course on the flight home, Preston poops EVERYWHERE, just minutes before our flight. Leave it to me to forget to pack an extra outfit. My mom runs around trying to find an outfit she can buy at one of the shops and I am in the bathroom doing everything i can to clean him up.
Needless to say, we couldn't find anything. So he flew naked and wore a little jacket that i had in my bag that was poop free!

Ooh it looks so beautiful there! Nothing better than a pantless baby in my opinion!

Lol I love the Preston poop story! I also have tons of respect for moms with lots of kids! I only have one and some days it is so hard! Ryland was so easy as a baby then he hit toddlerhood! :)
