Preston's poor little bum. After a terrible yeast infection and constant diaper rash I think his bum is going to be permanently red. OUCH. It's honestly the saddest thing. Anytime this little guy wets his diaper or heaven for bid has a number two, he goes ballistic. Literally, ballistic and beside himself, screaming in pain. It's heartbreaking. Makes me want to cry. Thankfully, there is some prescription numbing cream, and prescription diaper rash cream.

Diaper rashes are so heartbreaking!
PS. I'm a big fan of the Bordeaux's Butt Paste as far as non-prescription creams go. :)
Hi Paige --
I feel so bad about Preston's rash! Abby had a REALLY BAD rash for like the first month of her life. It made me so sad to have to change her. We tried prescriptions, over the counter, and anything we could. (even leaving her on a towel and not putting a diaper on so we could keep lots of cream on her rash...awesome, eh?)
Anyways, my neighbor heard and told me to try this stuff called "Motherlove Diaper rash and thrush" cream. I can only find it in the higher end grocery and natural food stores. Like Sunflower Market, AJ's, Trader Joe's, etc and places like that. I lathered that stuff on there and it cleared her up. It's seriously the best. Try it. Hope it works!
Here's a link to what it looks like or you can buy it online if you can't find it in the store.

Here is another tip for you on diaper rashes. Reagan will get really bad rashes when she has diarrhea, like you wanted to know that, but the doctor said that using athletes foot cream and then top with with Desitin, the thick kind, to hold the foot cream in place longer. We do this anytime she gets a rash and it doesn't last long at all. It also keeps her from screaming and crying.
The other thing we did was just before bed we would give her a bath and really wash down her diaper area with soap and then the cream remedy. This helped the most when she had a yeast infection. Cleans out all the bacteria.
Hope he gets better and hope this helps. Sorry so long. :0)
