Halloween

As much as I love halloween we really didn't plan or do much this year because we were in Mexico! We didn't get back into town until the middle of the afternoon and I still hadn't bought a costume. Thanks to my mom, she saved the day with a last minute walgreen's special! hahaha, it was the ugliest costume i've ever seen but that it is what you get when you buy the day of. Either way, my boy looks cute in anything!

Preston loved watching all the kids come to the door. They started at 5 and ended at 8:15. It was literally non stop trick or treaters for three hours. We went through 500 pieces of fun size candy bars. We were warned that halloween was a big deal in our neighborhood, but no joke we had every apartment complex in awhatukee come hit up our neighborhood! We had ages ranging from 2 weeks to 35 years (not lying). The best trick or treater of the whole night were maddie and lindsay! Love them, can't believe I didn't get a picture. 

Not only did my mom come over with a costume for Preston, but she also made here famous chili and cornbread, and she bought pies, a halloween book, cup and plate. Preston was spoiled! and so were the rest of us. Thanks mom! You are the greatest!!!

Porter slept most of the night, but then as soon as it was time for the rest of us to sleep he decided he wanted to wake up and play! Go figure. Overall it was a great night and we loved having my parents, maddie and linds. Next year we are going big to make up for this year!
