My baby is a YEAR old!

I may or may not have cried several times leading up to July 7th. And I may or may not have laid down in my baby's crib just so I could snuggle him while he was sleeping. AND I may or may not have gotten him out of his bed to rock him in his rocking chair a few times. Yes, I really did have an emotional breakdown. I blame it on me quitting nursing and having my hormones go a little crazy and out of whack. I was so SAD!

It was such a bizarre feeling. One I didn't experience with Preston because i was already nine months Pregnant when he turned a year! :) This time was different, I knew there wasn't another baby on the way and wouldn't be for a while. AND I knew what my future with a toddler was going to look like, and it didn't involve newborn baby snuggles.

A week and a half later and I still can't believe my baby is a year! His first little year flew by faster then I can remember.

You have been a dream child, an absolute joy and delight. Your smile melts my heart. You are so fun and easy going. You love your dad and older brother..... watch their every move. You love to dance and wave your arms. You are loud! Love to laugh, scream, yell, talk, and be heard. Your sweet innocent perfect baby stage, it quickly turning into curious, busy, and a little crazy! We love you and are so grateful to have you in our family. We love you!!
