Vegas..... with babies in tow.

When one thinks about Vegas, they don't usually think about babies. But, we did! And when I say we, I mean Taylor (the sisterwife) and I!

Long story made short, my in laws were going to be in Vegas attending one of their horse shows and wanted us to come and meet up with them. Glen was going to be out of town that same week so I knew if I went I would have to go alone. I thought it would be great to let the kids see some of their cousins and grandparents, but I had no idea if i could really make the 5 hour drive.

In comes Taylor....... she hasn't been to Vegas since she was a small child! Always wanting to go and check things out, this was the perfect short and sweet trip! And lucky for me, Taylor knows my kids as well as me! She knows their routine, their naughtiness, and the highs and lows. She was the perfect answer to the dilemma!

We took off on Thursday morning and stayed until Sunday. We walked and walked and walked. The kids did great. Taylor got just enough taste of Vegas, to know she wants to go back again for the food, shows, and shopping.

Preston loves his Uncle Daron and the horses

Preston and cousin Teague had so much fun together

Shark Reef

The boys loved the aquarium at Mandalay Bay

The best part about the trip, the other sisterwife Kensley was in Vegas with her husband for an anniversary getaway. Loved seeing her!

Sistwives united! Love these people.

 Serendipity III

Met my sister in law in the lobby to see that we had on matching shirts! Haha LOVE HER!

The best night ever! BINGO! So much fun! And believe it or not, Taylor had bingo twice!!! (or actually maybe not, but yes she did shout it out twice thinking she had it! hahah). Never laughed so hard!

Walking the strip

The boys had so much fun at the wave pool and lazy river.

And on our last day... my cousin had her sweet baby Piper! Love her! So glad I was able to kiss on her before heading back home!

All in all, Vegas was SO AMAZING!! We had some hysterical moments and some small doses of reality: in case you were wondering...the MGM Grand doesn't have lions anymore....don't worry that we trekked (stroller and all) down the strip to realize this....sometimes the valet backs your BRAND NEW car into another, then jokes about and is really unapologetic...sometimes you get really distracted by the amazing beef&cheddar you're enjoying from Arby's to realize you're on the wrong highway and end up in California (scenic route? no thanks). I don't know how I managed not to get a photo with the boys and their grandparents, but we loved seeing them and had so much fun!!

Vegas, we will be back!

You're so brave! Glad you had a fun trip! And, where are you finding these long tees? I'm in need and need long shirts for my tall body! :)
