I knew you all would read this post with a title like that! Mercy! We aren't having those kind of problems!
Recently Glen has started a new thing...... breathing ridiculously loud/SNORING! It amazes me to see how many times I can poke, prod, push, and even hit, all in hopes to make him stop, and still... nothing! I don't know if there are others out there with this same dilemma, but I have had to come up with four alternatives for a peaceful/decent night of sleep.
1.Poke and push until they wake up and then hurry and close your eyes as though you were asleep and had nothing to do with them waking up. Every now and then this helps them stop.
2.When poking and shaking doesn't work, move yourself to the guest bedroom.
3.When the guest bedroom is being occupied by a guest, put some earphones on and listen to the ipod, perhaps a little Enya can soothe you to sleep.
4.When the snoring is louder then your soothing music (A.K.A. Enya/2002 EFY church play-list... don't even lie I know we all have this), abort the room, go downstairs and wash the baseboards around your entire house until you are ready to fall asleep on the couch to only wake up two hours later.
I hope no one else is struggling with this same problem... however, if you are out there, perhaps one of the above four can help you. Or maybe I will just start drugging myself at night so I wont be such a light sleeper.... hmmmm, just an idea.
On a much lighter and less problematic note.... I graduated! No more school, no more parking tickets (sorry about that dad/glen), no more test, no more late test fees, and no more homework! NO more, NO more!

I love you! Seriously I do!!!!!
Hey Paige, It's Natalie, Dantley's cousin. Hope you don't mind I found your blog. Your hubby snoring post is funny. I wonder why he just started snoring like that. Anyway I love reading your blog and seeing what you are up to. You are gorgeous girl.
If you want to go to my blog just e-mail at nickandnat05@yahoo.com. I have ours private.
ha ha oh boy! Fortunately Nate doesn't have that problem so I don't have much advice. However, I do know you can get him a breathing mask he would have to wear every night! Sounds hilarious but I know they often times work! Good luck with that! :)
good luck girl. that sucks. earplugs don't work huh? i feel bad for you! nice work on getting done with school! you rock!
rich definitely had that problem from time to time and have you tried ear plugs? My mom has these construction grade ones that are awesome! Marriage is so fun!!!
Pike did that too! I would have to hurry and go to bed before him in hopes that i would fall asleep before him! And on the nights he would wake me up i would do the same thing poke push say his name to wake him up, minus i wouldnt pretend it wasnt me i would tell him he was being too loud!!! After awhile he stopped, but if he over exhorts himself i know im in trouble!
AND let me just say that i love you for posting this and love the fact that you washed your baseboards! haha
Ha ha I love the title of this post! Hank is snores too. Luckily it is not all the time but I hate it so bad. I usually just hit him or roll him over and he will stop for awhile then I do it over and over again and tell him to be quiet. ha ha Good luck!
haha I have the same problem!
This is funny. Actually, my dad has snored his WHOLE life. Recently though he bought this mouth guard that he sleeps with and it actually works! My mom makes him sleep with it:) I have to find out what the name of it is and tell you.
You are to funny! This made me laugh so hard...could be because I know how you feel all too well! Hope things get better and you can get a good nights sleep soon!
Oh girl, my fiance does the same thing, he also hums, moans and groans, and talks gibberish in his sleep. I have resorted to pushing him until he wakes up, or shaking him until he wakes up. I have been cussed out and hit back but when he snores I just can't sleep at all. Usually if I just nudge him he rolls over and stops. But I completely feel your pain, and we don't have a guest room as of yet, so my choice would be to sleep on the couch. Silly boys.
oh my gosh I was laughing through this whole post.
I am sorry to laugh at your misery but it was kinda funny that you would rather wash baseboards then hear his snoring. It must be pretty bad!
Well My friend had the same problem and then she got him these strips to go over his nose. It somehow makes them breath better and not snore I will find out what they are called and let you know so you can sleep better ;)
Paige, I totally feel for you! Have Glen checked for sleep apnea! We did that for Cody last year because I couldn't take it. I can actually sleep at night now!
Hahaha--love the title! Awesome. Sorry to hear about the snoring. Growing up, one of my sisters was a loud breather and it would keep me up at night. I just plugged her nose until it woke her up--I'll admit sometimes I didn't do it so nicely, but it seemed to work. :) It was kinda like your idea of pushing and poking and then hurry and fall asleep before they do. :) Maybe you could try that too.
And congrats on graduating!! Hello! That should not just be a side note to your husband's snoring!!! That is awesome!! What are your plans now? Your mom said you get a trip as a present--I know Taiwan isn't the ideal vacation spot, but we would LOVE to have you and show you around! :)
CONGRATS ON GRADUATING! That's so exciting! And Robert snores SO loud too. Luckily he produces the morning show and works overnight, so I only hear his snoring during the day when I am awake.
hahaha you have me dying laughing :) I hope you are able to start getting better sleep! We're back in town now, let's play!
