  • you get photographed almost daily
  • you are loved by everyone
  • YOU SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT!
  • you love your naps and always go to sleep on your own
  • you roll from your tummy to your back

  • you have beautiful long eyelashes
  • you suck the same two fingers that your mama did as a baby
  • you wear size 12-18 month clothes
  • you still love baths, showers, and getting lathered with lotion
  • you are the least demanding baby i know
  • you are always so relaxed and happy to be dragged anywhere
  • you slept the entire car drive to the house in mexico (6 hours)
  • you make all of your mama's friends jealous because you are such an easy, chill, angel baby
  • You are the love of mine and your dads life!!
at FOUR month's i'm not it love with....
  • Still having all my baby weight to lose! I don't know how some mom's nurse and lose all the weight and then some. This has not be the case with your mama, in fact i have managed to hold onto everything. No matter how much or how little i seem to eat, i don't lose or gain a thing. This is frustrating and makes me want to stop nursing all together and go on one of my infamous diets, but i'm told that would be selfish. So for now i'll keep nursing, but i'm not sure how much longer i can stand being chubbins! So Preston, your chubby mommy is chubby just for you!
  • The two bottom teeth that are coming in and make you drool

Ps..... our doctor says to start Preston on cereal this month, i've heard mixed things from people and some  suggest waiting until 5 or 6 months. What did you do? Since he is so big I feel like he wants more, and wants food. But at the same time there is nothing more convenient then just strictly nursing a baby.

He is so darling!!!! Yes some people lose weight while nursing but as soon as you stop it will come off :) I promise! But don't stop for that reason, keep going girl! I just stopped nursing my babe this week and he will be one in a week. It's the best thing you can do but you know that ;) Keep it up! It's such a special bond and when we are done you might just be bummed....cuz I am :(

Oh my gosh Paige... his sweet little face is too much! And those eyes?! Wow!! Also in lieu of starting him on cereal... you should probably start him on some kind of NBA or NFL training program!! Such a stud!

Oh boy he is so cute, he has now surpassed Blakely in size. Nothing cuter than a big boy. As far as rice cereal goes it is annoying for sure and blakely hated it so I just gave up but if you feel he is ready go for it!

Where did my little baby nephew go??? Okay, but so way cute!!! I am all about the food as soon as possible. I mix cereal with the liquid gold for about a month before starting them on any real food. If he sleeps good, you could wait. I aways felt like it made them sleep better. Give that BIG GUY hugs and kisses from all of us!!

I can't believe how big he is! Rhea is 6 months old and only 14 lbs!! Did he get to wear half of his clothes??

Don't worry about the weight. I've heard some people hold on to their weight until they are done nursing and then it drops off! Glad to hear you're doing well!!!

Carmen didn't start solids until she was 6 months old, but before that point she didn't show the remotest interest in food. She's almost 16 months old now and still likes the rice cereal. Breakfast is pureed vegetables mixed with prune juice and rice cereal. It's crazy weird- and nasty-sounding, I know, but it gets her vegetables in so I won't complain!! All kids are different!

So just follow his cues. If *you* think he's acting like he wants food (or more food) it's safe to try, despite what the crazies say about "YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL 6 MONTHS". I let all of the extreme expectations and demands drive me crazy and it turned me into a depressed psycho Mom. Not good, not good at all!!!

Carmen is still nursing in the morning when we wake up and right before bed. Do whatever you feel is best for you. I think you can safely lose 2 lbs a week while nursing and it won't affect your supply.

Anywho, if you really want tons of advice/ideas, feel free to FB message me. I don't want to take up too much comment space, but I've learned a *lot* in the past 16 months between me and my friends with all of our different babies and different experiences!
