I can honestly say I have never really cared for Halloween. SAD, I know. I think it's because I'm not very creative and never have that great of a costume. Don't get me wrong, I am all for dressing up and getting in the spirit, but I just need someone else to come up with the costume.
Now that i have a baby, I feel no need to dress up. I have someone else to take the spotlight.... and Preston did just that. He was the cutest giraffe, most certainly the cutest I have ever seen. He loved his soft warm costume, and didn't mind his hat one bit.
Saturday evening we went to the ward trunk or treat, and Sunday we stayed home as a family and had only 4 tricker treaters (that were 15 years old and showed up after nine). I have a feeling that Halloween will get a lot more exciting around our house now that we have Preston.
I'm obsessed with my little giraffe.

I totally agree with you Paige...it is so nice to have kids on Halloween because it is all about their costume and you don't have to come up with one for yourself. I loved Preston's costume...so cute! :)
