Where has the time gone? I feel like you should still look like this

But I think you only looked like the above pictures for a second, maybe a few minutes at most. From the day you entered this world you grew at a ridiculously fast rate, and you still continue to do so. 

At six months you look like this

You are SO big! Off the charts and out of this world big. You are the average size of a 14 month old baby. You wear size 18 to 24 month clothes. You have never had a chance to get chubby because you just keep getting longer and longer. You don't fill out any of your clothes in the stomach area, but your long skinny legs and big feet fit perfectly. 

You are still perfect in every way. 

You are getting better at sitting up for long periods of time 

You grab and pull everything

You are very curious about everything around you 

You scoot all over the place on your back and tummy

You LOVE your daddy (he makes you laugh and smile better then anybody)

You still don't love baby food or rice cereal 

You have tried all different kinds of rice cereal, fruits and veggies

Your favorite thing to eat is still milk (this needs to change because i want to quit, sorry)

You have the sweetest and best deposition

You got your first ear infection and i didn't even know because you didn't even cry

You are so good, you make me want to have 5 more babies

You are the greatest thing that has ever happened to us

You love to stand

Your favorite toy has always been Sophie the giraffe

You love to play in your baby einstein bouncy/toy thing

Your hair is starting to get long and blonde

You have beautiful blue eyes and long eyelashes

You are mine

Yesterday on the 10th (your actual 6 month mark), you celebrated with a trip to the doctor, a 103 temperature, and a bad case of croup (a bad infection in your throat and lungs that makes swallowing and breathing very painful and difficult). You were up all night the night before and had the saddest most painful cry, I cried with you. It was so uncharacteristic like of you, I knew you were miserable. Thankfully dad stayed up all night with us and was the calm one. We gave you a steam shower and held you all night so you could sleep in our arms and breath better then laying flat. 

I can't wait to see what these next six months bring. I hope they don't go by as fast as the first half of your one year mark. I love you baby.

And P.S. 

I want you to know, that every single night before I go to bed i check on you one last time to make sure you look comfortable and warm enough. I kiss you goodnight for the tenth time, and always tell you I love you. It is routine.
