update 1 of many

I don't even know where to begin.... the last real update was over a month ago. So much has happened!

-Glen starting a new job

-We moved into our house

-Decorating (or trying to)

-Porter is 3 months, Preston is 17

-Trip to Utah

-Jen and Tyler's wedding

-Porter finally getting a name and a blessing

Some things that haven't been happening....

-STILL NO CABINETS! (AHHHH, it's miserable)

To keep these updates short and sweet, we will start with the move.

Moving into an unfinished home with two babies seemed like a fine idea, until the idea came to reality and I've been swimming in regret ever since (kidding, kind of)! The first few nights we had doors to be hung, door handles to be put on, lights and fans to be installed, mirrors to be purchased and hung, kitchen and bathroom cabinets to be made.   I didn't think it would be a big deal, turns out that with two kids, everything is made a bigger deal. 

Three weeks later and everything is done, EXCEPT for the cabinets, the most important thing of all. Turns out four weeks really means eight (side story: our carpenter, George (pronounced Whore-hey) got into a little trouble with the policia (and ran off with our money) so we had to quickly find a new person to build our cabinets) so unfortunately that means half of my house is still in boxes. The entire kitchen, and all the bathrooms...nightmare! and lesson learned!

All in all we are slowly getting settled in. The most frustrating aspect of it all is that I have been saving and saving everything so I can buy furniture! Now that the time is here I can't find anything. I have all these visions in my head and can't find what I am looking for anywhere. And lets just say, I'm not a patient person. I've been waiting three and a half years, i'm ready for a fully decorated home for me and my three boys. 

Since I can't make it happen on my own. I'm taking any and all help. Want to come decorate my house? anyone? anyone?
