I have an official crawler.... and other official business

an army crawler, but a crawler at that. He has been mobile for the last month with all his rolling and scooting, but now he is not just mobile, he is fast, and into everything. His favorite spot, the pantry (a boy after his mama's heart). He loves outlets, power cords/battery chargers, and everything else that a child is not supposed to play with.

Poor baby has been on antibiotics for 5 days and he is still cranky and pulling on his ear. His nose has not stopped running and his face is completely chapped from his mean mom wiping it constantly.

Glen and I have gone back and forth with the homes we made offers on, both are just waiting for us to accept, and we can, but something is holding me back. There are pros and cons to both homes, and i like them both, but I still can't help but feel like maybe we can find something better, even though we have been looking for a solid 10 months. One house is in ahwatukee, the other one is in chandler. I of course want ahwatukee (since it is closer to my parents), but the house needs an updated kitchen, and thus more money put into it. The house in chandler is newer, and doesn't need much work at all, but for whatever reason I'm not overly excited or in love with either one.

Finding a house is a problem because: number 1: I'm pregnant with my second baby and need to get out of my parents house (although it has been the most amazing 8 months and we have been able to save lots of money). number 2: I do not want to be settling into a home with a newborn. I want to be fully moved in and settled before  #2 comes. number 3: I also don't want to move while I am 8 months pregnant, so time is withering away. number 4: did i mention i'm pregnant and really, really, need my own home STAT! So i'm feeling the pressure and ready to just settle and buy a home. I'm sure no matter what house we purchase, we will do some work to it. So between finding a home, closing, renovations, and moving, we don't have much time..... July is just around the corner.

Yesterday my cousins came over for the game and food. After an evening full of eating, my cousin took a picture of the ever growing belly so I could email it to my missionary brother (per his request). After I saw the picture i was depressed, near tears (that's a lie, i totally cried a little). I compared my current not even 17 week belly to my 21 week belly with Preston. Lets just say I am growing at a very alarming rate. I swear at 17 weeks with baby number 2, I am bigger then what I was at 25 weeks with Preston. This is not a good sign. I haven't even gained any weight, in fact i've lost a bunch (all pregnant weight from preston), but i some how still have a full on belly. I don't want to think about the way I will look in July.

My sick baby trying to give me a smile with his swollen eyes and puffy face

My little naughty stinker

Smiling even with a fever

Preston's favorite treat

My favorite treat

and last random thought..... i only have 18 "followers", but on average have over 200 page views on my blog a day. So who are my long lost friends I don't know? I need some more blogs to stalk so leave me a comment or tell me who you are! :)

I hear you're always bigger with your later kids. So don't worry too much about it ... it's normal!!

Good luck with the house, and those strawberries look amazing.

PS. Once nice thing about having a summer baby is you have a whole year to get a summer body back. :)

You make your own baby food! You are such a supermom! I follow you because you write the sweetest things about your little one. Also, I am partial to Chandler. They have some incredible parks and lots of kid-friendly activities in the area. I love living there.

I'm totally a blog stalker.. Your little Preston is so cute! Noah is an army crawler too and into everything! Today I went to the bathroom and came out and he had the plug to the vacuum in his mouth!! We moved into our house when I was almost 8 months pregnant. It actually wasn't too bad because I got to sit back and boss all the men around. hehe. the nesting kicked in and I felt the urge to sanitize and steam clean everything. So I dunno. ha
Good luck with the houses! Keep looking- especially if you're not in love. We did that with a few houses and finally found this one. I fell in love and it's been great!

I keep forgetting to say something about his highchair, we have the same one at our house..don't you love it! I am in love with how you can wipe down every inch, so easy to clean.
You will find the right place to live so try not to stress!

Hi Paige,

I check into your blog :) ALso with baby number 2 I was massivly enormous, more so than ever with Isabelle. My weight gain was also far less, but the belly was enormous (hence a 10 lb baby). I also lost the weight faster with number 2, because I didn't lose all my weight with Izzy. So that was nice. Good luck with the house hunting. I understand your urgency to buy a home before you get too big, but speaking from someone who bought a house they didn't love (ME) I wish I would of held out. You will find it, don't rush it. Good luck!
