- Poor Preston has been up the last three nights in a row. Last night being the worst. Tears, screams, trouble breathing, refusing to nurse, more crying, steam shower, rocking chair, vicks vapor rub, humidifier, blue bulb to suck the snot out..... it was heartbreaking, miserable, and exhausting.
- Went to the doctor today to get something for a cold. Find out it's not just a cold, but also a double ear infection.
- Trying to wean the nursing and start formula. Preston hates formula, hates it. I don't know what to do. He drinks juice and water from a bottle, but hates formula. What brand do you use? And how did you make the transition? Do I just quit nursing cold turkey and force him to like formula?
- We put an offer on two different homes. Problem is, I want one and Glen wants the other. Dangit!

The only formula that Blakley will take was the Similac. We started her on the orange kind the similac sensitive stomach, any other she wouldn't even drink...even when she was completely off breast, I hope it works for you.
Some of my sisters just had to go cold turkey when they wouldn't take it and you had to move on!
Feed breast milk from the bottle first. Then slowly add formula to the mix. Decrease breast milk slowly until you are onto only formula.
So sorry to hear of the ear infections! Nothing worse than inability to soothe a baby.

oh and one of my friends babies only wanted the pre-made formula but she would freak if she used the powder and it was the SAME formula. good luck girl. i am so sorry about the sickies. i had both boy's sick (like really sick) and i wanted to run away.
it was so bad. being pregs on top of all that doesn't help! yiiikes!
We've had ear infections over here too this week. UGH. I agree with the Brittani and Lindsey. Works like a charm, after they get the hang of taking from a bottle.

Paige! So sorry to hear about your troubles with your sweet Preston. He has beautiful eyes! Where are you guys looking at moving to? We just got here and are house hunting as well, but need to stay in North Phoenix/Scottsdale for Grant's work. Hope things get better soon!
