house update....
I've had a bunch of people ask me about "our house" that i blogged about a few weeks ago, and i figured i should just give the update to all. "Our house" is not actually our house. Sad, sad day. Because the home is a shortsale we have been through the ringer. The bank decided that they wanted to send the home to auction to see if they could get a higher bid and more money out of it. They didn't get any bids because they were asking double what it is worth. Now, instead of shortselling the home to us, it is going to become a foreclosure. If we still want the house we have to continue on this path of playing the waiting game, and we don't have that luxury.... baby number two will be here in 100 days! We need a home asap. So unless they can turn this home around fast and get all the paperwork out to make it a foreclosure, we are going to have to miss out on this house and continue to search for another. Sad, sad, sad. I really fell in love with this home.

what a bummer. buying a house is so stressful but in the end im sure it will all work out and you will find an even better one :) we shall keep you in our prayers!! 100 days! so exciting!! good luck with everything!

If it makes you feel any better, we are going through the EXACT same thing with a house here. It's so stupid!! With all the houses on the market you'd think they would be GIVING them away, trying to get the economy back. It's like their punishing us for wanting to take a home off their hands. Hang in there, it's such a huge commitment that everything will work out as it should. (By telling you that I'm trying to convince myself of the same thing...ugh house-hunting sucks).....
